As you regain the slightest bit of consciousness, your senses are
assailed by a putrid stench in the air. You try to move your body, but
your arms and legs are too heavy. A deep biting cold creeps through to
your heart and begins to spread quickly, and you become aware that you
are in a pool filled with some sort of warm fluid. It rises slowly, but
surely, and you realize that within moments, you would be submerged in
it if you do not wrest your body out of the pool somehow. Gathering all
your will, you try again to lift your cold and heavy body but it
refuses. As the cold slowly overpowers you and drives your consciousness
back into oblivion, you come to the realization that you are drowning
in a pool of your own blood.
